Knight Watch has a strong and highly effective Intellectual Property Rights Wing, with a separate team of highly skilled professionals with such diverse backgrounds as the Intelligence Bureau, the Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) and the police. They are trained in surveillance, counter-surveillance and in establishing a network of informers and agents. They are knowledgeable in regard to the nuances of intellectual property rights and about the laws relating to infringement of copyrights, trademarks, and patents, and on cheating, criminal breach of trust and fraud Knight Watch has achieved spectacular success in identifying and bringing to book various infringes including manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of counterfeited or pirated goods.

In particular, Knight Watch has been able to help seize counterfeit pharmaceutical drugs and machinery means for manufacturing such drugs and for their stripping and packaging worth Rs.500 million. In these cases, factories manufacturing such fake drugs were sealed and their plant and Machinery worth several million rupees were attached by the police. Also, those engaged in manufacturing and trading in such fake products were identified and arrested. Even after their arrest, Knight Watch set up lawyers to oppose their bail and get them remanded to jail for several months. Similar success has been achieved on behalf of other clients as well. As the chairman of Knight Watch had earlier worked as Chief of Police of Delhi and as Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), India’s equivalent of the FBI, Knight Watch is able to effectively liaise with the police and other law enforcement authorities and seek their help in bringing to boor various infringes.
